John is an antique dealer by day and a trombone playing rockstar by night. He's done everything in life from fishing to gold mining and decided in his 40's to learn to play the trombone. After attending 'Dartington School of Rock', he taught himself to play trombone bought from an auction and knew he wanted to get a band together. JP founded the band in 2005 and has been playing with the Cannons ever since. One of his favourite songs to play is 'Uptown Funk' because it always gets the crowd dancing. When he's not playing trombone, he'll be listening to Mariachi music after years spent living in Mexico. He likes to have fun at gigs and you'll often find him down in the crowd after a few Henry Westons'!

Everyone had a fantastic evening the band was absolutely superb, people were saying how much they enjoyed it. I think you had everyone dancing by the middle of your second song!

Thank you very much for making every ones evening and giving both Alex and Becky the perfect end to a perfect day.
