The Loose Cannons Band
Joel Cordon
Joel started playing with the Cannons on and off in 2019 and then full time in 2022. He began playing saxophone at the age of 10. His favourite song to play is 'Superstition'. When he's not playing with the band, he can be found going on long walks with his dog or being sat with a book. Joel has been fortunate enough to have played with various jazz legends which has led him to playing all over the country, as well as touring Switzerland, Australia and Italy with various ensembles. Whilst in Australia he taught composition and performed briefly to students at Sydney University. He now lives and teaches Music in beautiful Devon and he wouldn't want to move anywhere else.
What people say ...
An enormous thank you again to the Loose Cannons who, by popular demand, were invited back for the second year for the Churston Ferrers Grammar School 'Grand Night Out'.

Your return appearance was again a huge success and made for an evening which truly lived up to its name. The fact that you fill the dance floor from the start to the finish of an evening (and leave the guests demanding a return to the stage at the end) is a measure of the way in which you really engage with the audience, the range of music that you include, but above all, the quality of your performance.

Great musicians, great entertainers, a great band which I can thoroughly recommend if you are organising an event.

Thank you to you all for a thoroughly enjoyable event and for your help with our fund raising.
